Delete your Kumiro account

Anyone with a Kumiro account -- a business owner or a member of their staff -- can delete it themselves, in the Kumiro app or on the web. It is deleted straight away.

In the Kumiro app

  1. Open the Kumiro app and sign in.
  2. Go to More and press Delete account, at the bottom. An account that is not part of a business yet has Delete account on its first screen.
  3. Confirm, and the app signs you out.

On the web

  1. Sign in to Kumiro on the web.
  2. Open the account menu at the foot of the sidebar -- or the menu, on a phone -- and choose Delete account.
  3. Type your email address and confirm.
Delete your account on the web

What is deleted

  • Your account: the email address and password you sign in with.
  • The phones registered to receive Kumiro notifications for you.
  • Your place on the team of every business you worked for.

What is kept

  • Records of the work you did for a business -- the visits you recorded, the rewards you handed over -- stay with that business, without your name.
  • A business whose only owner deletes their account is closed rather than deleted. Its website goes offline, its loyalty card is paused and its plan is cancelled at the end of the period already paid for. Kumiro keeps its records -- its customers' cards and the messages sent to it included -- so it can be restored if closing it was a mistake.
  • Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
  • An invitation a business sent to your address stays in that business's records.

If you cannot sign in

Reset your password from the sign-in page, or email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
